Therapist vetting

How we choose our therapists

Nobody takes a booking until a person has read their application and we have checked their Washington massage license.
Find therapists near you

Step 1

Application read by a person

Every applicant tells us about their experience and why they want to work with us. A person reads each one; nothing is approved automatically.

Step 2

Conversation

If the application is a fit, we talk with the therapist about how they work, which treatments they offer, and what they need to feel safe at a booking.

Step 3

License checked with the state

Washington requires a massage therapist license (LMT). We check the number with the Department of Health before a therapist can be hired, and our system refuses to hire anyone without it.

Vetting FAQs

Can I look up a therapist’s license myself?

Yes. Washington’s Department of Health has a public provider credential search. Ask your therapist for their license number.

What standards do therapists follow?

Clean linen and towels for every client, clean hands, and massage only. A therapist who breaks those standards is removed.

What if something goes wrong at my booking?

Tell us through the contact page. A person reads every report.

Do tips go to the therapist?

Yes, all of every tip.
