Legal

Terms & conditions

Draft terms, not yet reviewed by a lawyer. They will be finalised, with the name of the operating business, before bookings open.

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use the Renton Massage website or book a massage through it.

2. Who can book

You must be 18 or older to book, and so must the person receiving the massage.

3. Our role

Renton Massage introduces customers to independent, Washington-licensed massage therapists and takes payment on their behalf. The therapist, not Renton Massage, provides the massage.

4. Booking

Bookings can be made up to 10 days ahead. A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation by text or email.

5. Payment and prices

Each therapist sets their own price. We add a service fee of 10% of that price, shown separately before you pay. Payment is taken by card when you book. Applicable sales tax, if any, is shown at checkout.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Give an accurate address, access instructions and a phone number that reaches you.
  • Tell your therapist about any medical condition, injury, pregnancy or allergy before the massage starts.
  • Provide a safe space to work in, free of hazards.

7. Cancellations, changes and delays

See our cancellation policy.

8. Prohibited use

Therapists provide massage only. Any request for sexual services, any harassment, or any unsafe behaviour ends the session immediately at the full price, and may lead to your account being closed and the matter reported.

9. Therapists may decline

A therapist may decline or stop a massage if they believe it isn’t safe for you, or if they feel unsafe.

10. Liability

Massage is not medical treatment and nothing on this site is medical advice. Ask your doctor before booking if you have any health concern.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you book applies to that booking.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
