Preparing your room

  • Clear some space by the bed or, for a table, in the middle of the room.
  • Set the room to a warm temperature.
  • Put a couple of the hotel’s towels to one side.
  • Turn off the TV; your therapist may bring quiet music.

Telling reception

Some hotels ask guests to let the front desk know about visitors, or need you to come down to the lobby. A quick call to reception avoids your therapist waiting downstairs.

Meeting your therapist

Your therapist will text or call when they arrive. If reception asks, they will show ID. Then they come up, set up, and start.
